RENO, Nev. (March 6, 2017) — NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, announced Capstak as the 2017 Technology Startup of the Year. Capstak’s recognition in this category symbolizes Capstak as the most promising start-up company in Northern Nevada and shows the positive effect we have had on the local technology industry.

In 2016, Capstak launched our digital platform designed by and for commercial real estate industry professionals. Capstak helps commercial real estate professionals find deals, source capital, build relationships and identify trusted business partners.

Capstak Startup of The Year

Capstak is making the commercial real estate market work better so you can do more deals, save time and money and improve your bottom line. At the heart of Capstak is our Haves & Wants, powered by a proprietary matching algorithm. Members select a deal type -- property, capital, 1031 exchange requirement, services, jobs and development opportunities -- then Capstak’s technology does the rest. Automatically showing you matches with other members of the community who might have an interest in your deal or in similar deals.

Capstak recently announced a new partnerhsip with PublicAssets. A company that provides commercial real estate professionals access to billions of dollars of opportunities in the massive and dynamic government commercial real estate market. Capstak continues to expand, and is currently looking to fill multiple positions.

Now in its 10th year, the NCET Technology Awards celebrate the Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of technology community, while the Reno Gazette-Journal Business of the Year Awards recognize outstanding leaders at all levels of business, from small to large companies. The EDAWN Awards recognize the people and resources that have played an integral part in contributing to the growth of our community.
